T1377 Tender for the provision of mediation services for the Northern Ireland Housing Executive 3.00pm 29th August 2017
The Housing Executive introduced its own in house ‘Mediation Service’ in 2002/2003 but in 2009 changed to employing the services of skilled mediation practitioners on a sessional basis, on this basis a Mediation panel was established and provided services across all of Northern Ireland. In 2015 the Housing Executive procured a mediation service provider to deliver the mediation service. This was a 2 year contract only and the Housing Executive is now seeking to procure a new mediation service provider to deliver the mediation service.
The mediation Contractor will be required to address 2 areas of provision, namely Community Cohesion which will be community v community mediation and Community Safety, neighbour v neighbour mediation.

Requirement
The Housing Executive has a requirement to establish a Framework Agreement for the supply and delivery of Doors supplies and materials to be used in the maintenance of Housing Executive housing stock.

Private Rental Accommodation Required
The Housing Executive is seeking to expand its portfolio of temporary accommodation in:
Bangor, Holywood, Newtownards, Comber, Braniel, Cregagh, Poleglass, Twinbrook, Lagmore and Lisburn.
We require 1, 2 and 3 bed self-contained and fully furnished properties.  We are also keen to source ground floor properties with wheelchair access or mobility adaptations.

Rented Accommodation Required
The Housing Executive is seeking to add to its portfolio of accommodation for use as temporary accommodation for homeless households throughout South Region i.e:
Newry, Armagh, Banbridge, Lurgan, Craigavon, Portadown, Omagh, Fermanagh, Cookstown, Dungannon, and Magherafelt.
All properties must be self contained, furnished and equipped to meet the needs of homeless households, have an independent access and be of an acceptable standard to the Housing Executive with regard to health and safety. Ground floor properties with wheelchair access or mobility adaptations are of particular interest.
Expressions of interest are sought from landlords who would be willing to make available their properties which will be selected on consideration of location, size and value for money.
