Quality Assessment Framework (QAF)
As part of our business improvement project, we carried out a questionnaire survey to obtain providers’ views on the way we currently assess service quality. We’d like to take the opportunity to thank all providers who took the time to respond to the survey. The analysis is now complete and the report of the findings is available at the link below.
We will use your feedback to inform our own internal review of the quality assessment process. As a next step we are planning to carry out some testing of possible changes. If you would be interested in helping with this, please contact Supporting.People@NIHE.GOV.UK
The Department for Communities' review of Supporting People included a recommendation to develop a revised approach to outcomes measurement. To take this forward, Supporting People asked for expressions of interest from Providers to participate in an outcomes pilot.
A number of Providers expressed an interest and 10 were selected. These reflect the wide range of client groups, service types, organisation size and locality of supported housing provider organisations. The pilot commenced at the start of October 2016 and will run to the end in March 2017.
Details of the participating providers, the timelines and phases of the pilot and the outcome indicators are available throgh the links below:

Following on from our first SP update, we would like to thank those organisations who have informed Supporting People about their upcoming events and would ask all organisations to advise us of any future events.
Please note: In line with SP funding agreements, all providers should be using the SP logo in publicity materials, including reports and job advertisements to ensure appropriate recognition of the SP programme.
