Kids Together welcomes you to new premises

Kids Together Belfast have moved to new, larger premises on the Stewartstown Road and launched their new website, with help from us.
Kids Together’s new premises are in the OASIS Centre, 134 Stewartstown Road, Belfast, which is home to several community services. They plan and deliver a wide range of tailored services for families with children and young people who have complex needs. The group has been working in West Belfast since 2005 to promote understanding and greater interaction between siblings, irrespective of their ability/disability. They also work to build and sustain relationships between parents across communities.
Paddy Kelly, our West Belfast Housing Services Manager, said:
“We were happy to be able to provide assistance to allow the group to put up new signage outside and to help make the play area safe. This enhances the shared space already there and further encourages residents to avail of the community services available.”
Their new website is also up and running - everyone should take a moment to have a look at the services they are offering online. You may know someone who would benefit from this community facility.
Kids Together invited residents and local representatives to visit their new premises in the Oasis Centre yesterday. Mairead McCrea, Co-ordinator for the Kids Together West Belfast group, is delighted with the move to larger premises and was there to welcome everyone to the launch. She said:
“The move to the Oasis Centre on Stewartstown Road is a great boost for the users of our services. The signs outside easily advise people where we are, and we can rest easy knowing the play area is safe for the children to play in with the netting provided, thanks to the Housing Executive.”
