To assist the director of Asset Management in delivering an effective efficient asset management service.
The post holder will be responsible for the effective delivery and management of the Corporate Health and safety functions along with the Asset Management directorates governance, risk management, business planning, technical inspection and compliance activities. the post holder will also have responsibility for the management, maintenance and implementation of the NIHE’s emergency planning function.
Requirements:
  • Hold a NEBOSH diploma or equivalent
  • Applicants must be a Chartered member of IOSH
  • Have a minimum of five years’ relevant experience at a senior level.

2017-78 Financial Shared Services Manager 8 June 2017 4:30pm

Salary:  £39,177 - £51,425
To manage Financial Shared Services within NIHE, providing an Accounts Payable, Income Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Payroll Service. The purpose of the role is to ensure effective management of the processes, improving quality, timing and efficiency of key deliverables in addition to ensuring that control, governance and statutory requirements are met.We aim to provide a first class service, meeting the needs of our customers that benchmarks competitively.
The Financial Shared Services Manager will be responsible for the establishment of the Shared Services Team, combining the existing functions in order to maximise efficiency. They will have responsibility for the performance of the Team and will have direct responsibility for the functional section managers:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Professional or Technical Qualification plus 3 year’s relevant experience
or
  • Exceptionally applications may be accepted from candidates who do not have the above level of qualifications but can demonstrate 5 years’ relevant experience.

To carry out electrical health and safety testing & minor repairs, smoke alarm replacement and domestic electrical maintenance in NIHE properties.
Essential criteria
Candidates must:
  • Have completed either a time served or skills apprenticeship; and
  • Have at least 1 years’ post apprenticeship experience; and
  • Hold a Level 3 certificate in the requirements for Electrical Installation to BS 2382 (17th Edition).
In addition, the successful candidate must hold, or be willing to attain the following electrical qualifications within 1 year from date of being appointed.
  • Either C&G 2391 or C&G 2394 /2395 electrical testing and inspection
You must also have a full current driving licence or access to a form of transport which would enable you to carry out the required duties of this post.
