Tower blocks update

Community groups from across Northern Ireland have been celebrated for their tireless efforts to improve and enhance their local area at this year’s Community Conference in Armagh.

<p>Larchfield Gardens in Kilrea has been named Northern Ireland&rsquo;s Best Kept Medium Housing Area at the 2025 Best Kept Awards NI.</p>

<p>Ballynahinch Primary school received a Community Involvement grant of &pound;5,000 from the Housing Executive, enabling the installation of several exciting new play-stations to their Secret Garden project, in the first stage of ongoing developments throughout the school which will have a positive impact across the Ballynahinch community.</p>

Northern Ireland Housing Executive investment in Fermanagh and Omagh District Council during 2024/25 amounted to &pound;46.57m.&nbsp;

<p>The Good Morning Ballycastle free confidential telephone service is delighted at having received a &pound;5,000 grant from the Housing Executive&rsquo;s Community Safety Fund to support its work with isolated and vulnerable people across the former Moyle area.</p>

<p>A fantastic number of people braved the rainy weather to enjoy a Sing, Sow &amp; Gather community engagement day, funded by the Housing Executive in Limavady.</p>
